Best suited to private, photography, mid-range travelers comfortable with a moderate itinerary over 9 days. Final timings, accommodation and activities are confirmed for the travel dates.

Overview

Southern Tanzania is a genuinely different product from the northern circuit. Nyerere adds boat-based observation where scheduled, Mikumi breaks the journey inland, and Ruaha rewards time with a broad, less compressed game-drive landscape.

A fully overland version can be tiring, so the preferred quotation compares strategic flight sectors with road transfers. Camp opening dates, air schedules and park roads are checked before the route is sold.

The itinerary is deliberately nine days so the two major parks receive real wildlife time rather than being treated as a list of names. It suits repeat safari travelers and photographers comfortable with a more remote rhythm.

Highlights

  • ✦Nyerere game drives and scheduled boat activity
